Sugar Free Holidays
With the Holidays upon us, this may be a difficult time for the diabetics in your household. Everyone wants some sweet treats, especially when everyone around you is eating those “no-no” sweet treats. You can learn how to make a sugar free cheesecake, perfect for the diabetics in your household, or those looking for something sweet, but by cutting back on sugar intake.
Here I show you how to create a cheesecake using splenda instead of regular sugar. It is better for you, and doesn’t spike your blood sugar levels. Great for all diabetics, minus the toppings.
Great job making the video! I like the extra touches you add like the camera inside the oven or the fridge. Very creative! The cake looks really yummy. Through my diabetic class my wife and I learned that ‘sugar free’ means no sugar added and that many products have a level of sugar in them anyway. It’s tough.

Well this one (minus the toppings) was sugar free!! Betty Crocker makes pie crusts that are relatively sugarless, but the carbs do turn into sugar when they digested. Just don’t eat the crust, or make it without a crust if your really that worried about having a little bit of sugar. I’ve just learned how to take a little bit extra insulin for it… but for me its not even a unit more! Beacuse the cream cheese, eggs and other ingredients do not contain sugar, its PERFECT for us diabetics.
And honestly since you mentioned it, I dont think I listed the ingredients! I know I went over them towards the beginning, but never actually mentioned how much of what to use! Watch the video closely and you will see how much spenda I added, and it was 8 oz of cream cheese (this one I added a little more, not shown in the video, because of the condensed milk.)

It’s crazy isn’t it, all the carb counting and package reading. You have this mastered don’t you! 🙂

Yea I wish…. I will never have it mastered!! It’s been 14 years of this crazy diabetes stuff and I still get yelled at EVERYTIME I go to the doctor for having “uncontrolled blood sugar levels.” It’s just one of those things that’ll never be perfect!
